Youth at Grace Church

We have a good number of teenagers in the church from a variety of the schools in the area.

Our Sunday services take place at 4pm, which is great for this age group if they play sport on a Sunday morning, or an early start is just too daunting!

The music, talk and prayers in these Sunday meetings seek to engage those from secondary school age and upwards, so they stay in for the entire service.

SALT is our youth group for 11-18 year olds. It meets on Tuesday evenings from 7.30-9.00pm during term time at Old House Farm, Rocky Lane, RH16 4RW (see the map at the bottom of the page).

Each week we have half an hour at the start to chat and eat as much cakes and biscuits as we can before starting on the second part of the evening where we look at the bible and pray for and encourage each other.

Our aims in Salt are to treasure Christ and to make him known. We believe Jesus is the best news ever so we want to delight in him. We want to be able to say with Paul that I consider everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. (Phil 3:8). Not only that but we want to let others know how good he is.

We’ve looked at Philippians and Jonah together. We’ve looked at the big questions like ‘do science and Christianity mix?’ and ‘what about other religions?’ We regularly also have question sessions where any questions are welcome. Once a month we join with the rest of the church on a Wednesday to pray together. We also have socials quite often.

We love having people join us whether they’d call themselves a Christian or not. Please do get in touch if you’d like to know more, whether by using the form on this website or by calling/texting our minister.
