Welcome to Kids@4Our children's group meets during the Sunday meeting from 4pm (hence the name!). After refreshments, and perhaps some time together with the adults, and teenagers, the children meet in the hall. All children not yet at secondary school are welcome and we work hard to welcome new arrivals and settle them in. Young people at secondary school remain with the adults and there is a creche for 0-3s.
Each Kids@4 session includes getting to know God from the Bible and related games, quizzes and and craft activities. Crafts and worksheets are designed to reinforce the bible teaching and to provide parents with material to further discuss and explore with their children at home. We use resources from Children Desiring God and more information can be found at their website here. We believe the primary emphasis in the bible is placed upon parents to be the primary channels of character formation and spiritual instruction and that it is the Church’s role to come alongside and equip them for this journey. |  |
